I don’t know why there are people who think Richard WASN’T a virgin… he basically came right out and said it… why is there confusion?
It was a different time, he grew up in a small rural community with not many other people his own age, how is it so unbelievable that he was a virgin?
Also, how old is he supposed to be? I assume early 20’s, and you can’t really go off of Jack Huston’s age since Michael Pitt is 31 and playing what, 24? 25? If that?

Plus, take in the fact he ducked his head and turn 6 shades of red talking to Jimmy about the ‘if you’ve ever been with a woman’ question and the fact that he’s walking away with Odette he looked at Jimmy over his shoulder like ‘Dude, you have just shown me the way to heaven omg thank you’!’ kind of point heavily to it.

Seriously. People who think that he wasn’t either didn’t watch this episode or don’t remember it very well.  I don’t see how it could have been more clear that that was what the writers were trying to say.
Well, maybe if he actually said, “Hey Jimmy, guess what? I’m a virgin!”
Haha.

This spring was made for the nerd in all of us.

It started with the amazing S2 finale of the Walking Dead… but that was only the beginning.

I went to the midnight premiere of the Hunger Games.  It was one of the best movie adaptations of a book I have ever seen.

S5 of Mad Men has started off really nicely, I’m excited to see where it will go this season

The same can be said for Game of Thrones. The S2 premiere last night was excellent.

Also, in a few weeks Legend of Korra starts!  (Yes. I’m 20 and I watch cartoons, I can’t help myself)

What if Boardwalk Empire S3 was on right now? If it was, I think I would die from entertainment perfection, so I GUESS I can wait…

Overall this year the end of winter / beginning of spring has been a little too conducive to bringing out the obsessive fangirl inside me.  If only my printer was working, then I could channel this obsessive energy into some doodles for you guys.

Sorry… sad Richard comic is saaad.  If it helps any, in the last panel I tried to make him look sad but hopeful. He’s thinking, “Someday…”
Inspired by a request by phantomoftheboardwalk for a Richard/Odette comic.
Note to self: Take a break from drawing emotional Richard comics, I’m going to break the Harrowin’ Addicts.

Richard returns to the woods. I think it would be so cute if he saw this dog again later in life when he’s happy.
Inspired by a request by roundtableguest for some Richard and Suicide Prevention Dog. :)
Another request coming up in a bit…

A little Meyer for two of his biggest fans, Dirk and Maggie. It’s the least I can do to thank you for following, enjoy! :)
More requests, anyone?

Let’s all be friends, speakeasy. I got the idea to draw this when all of the fighting broke out in the BE fandom a while ago, but didn’t have time to draw it until today.
Honestly, we might not agree on everything, but if you’re a Boardwalk fan, you’re okay in my book.
Also, sorry if your favorite character’s not in here, doing everyone would’ve been impossible.  I’m going to make an effort to start drawing people I haven’t before though, starting with A.R. and Capone in here… and now to the request I got earlier. :)

I tend to judge characters on two levels: what I call “Personal” and “Character”. As a person, I think Gillian Darmody is awful, evil, and vile. (with reason though, she’s had a terrible life) However, I think she is a great character: she’s extremely interesting to watch and so much fun to hate. Am I crazy or does this make sense?
ps- Sorry for no posts yesterday, tumblr friends and followers. School work and life stuff took up all my time.

I really would. Literally.
Okay, not literally.

Boardwalk Empire fans on tumblr,

I love that there are so many different opinions on characters. I accept and appreciate them all, even if we do not always agree. I want you to know that my opinions on certain characters in no way reflect how I feel about said characters’ fans. Here’s to a great fan-base, to each their own!

On the other hand, I dislike Lucy both ways.
On a personal level, she’s a ho bag.  On a character level she is uninteresting and is only worth one thing… (This isn’t an insult to the writer’s of the show though, I think that’s sort of the point with her.)  Actually, in Season 2 I almost started to empathize with her, but then she left her baby and she lost all of my respect. Lucy, don’t come back. Or, if you do, come back and die quickly…
